Beyond "Rusty Racks"

Our official business name is Cedar Recycling, but everyone knows us as the Rusty Rack Guys. Located in Sumner, we are the largest provider of used industrial racking and shelving in Washington. 

Company President, Jerry Eck bought his first used rack system in 1995 and kept buying racks and shelving, growing the business to its success today. He learned the recycling business as a teenager working at a place called Puget Sound Salvage. When he bought his first used racks he was a partner in a recycling buy-back center in Maple Valley. When the Maple Valley lease was up, he decided to use his expertise in securing used rack systems to set up shop on his own as Cedar Recycling in 1998. 

Buying, selling and trading racks is not the only service that Rusty Rack Guys' provide now. Our experience and expertise have allowed us to expand into becoming a distributor and installer for new racking and shelving systems, including CAD design and warehouse remodeling. We also work with our sister company, Valley Recycling Inc., located down the street from our Rusty Rack Guys facility.
